Atherstone-based ANT Industries has reinforced its position as a supplier of choice to leading global aerospace manufacturers—including ITP Aero and Rolls-Royce—through continued commitment to quality, innovation, and capital investment. The company, already accredited to AS9100 and NADCAP standards, has further new machine investment on site this autumn, most recently adding a new AXILE G8 Turn/Mill Centre to its advanced machining fleet, supplied in partnership with ETG UK & Ireland.
The acquisition represents a significant capital investment and is part of ANT Industries’ long-term strategy to expand capability and increase capacity across its precision manufacturing operations.
Managing Director Shaun Rowley said the move underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to customers and the future of UK manufacturing. “Our customers demand world-class quality, repeatability, and responsiveness. Investing in the machining capabilties further strengthens our ability to deliver exactly that,” he said. “We’re we’re building the capability that ensures ANT Industries remains a trusted partner for the most demanding aerospace programmes.”
ANT Industries specialises in the manufacture of engine rings and casings, complex prismatic machined components, precision machining of castings, and fully assembled units. The company supports both development and full-scale production phases, working across a wide range of materials including high-temperature alloys used in modern aero engines.
Rowley emphasised that the investment reflects the company’s broader strategy of aligning with customer needs as the aerospace sector continues its post-pandemic recovery. “Our customers are ramping up, and we’re ramping up with them,” he noted. “This new machine enhances our capability envelope, shortens lead times, and helps us maintain the exceptional quality standards that our partners expect.”
With increasing demand for advanced aircraft engine components and a competitive global supply chain, ANT Industries sees technological investment as essential. Having the latest 5-axis machining capability and high-speed performance will allow the company to improve efficiency while meeting the complex geometrical requirements of next-generation aerospace hardware.
Rowley added: “Engineering is at the heart of everything we do, it’s our willingness to invest—both in our people and our technology—that sets us apart. This is another milestone in our journey as we continue to support world-class customers with world-class capability.”
